Notable characteristics: Very large, pure white flowers with long stems. The buds are quite round and open to reveal evenly tousled petals. The dark green foliage provides excellent contrast.

Species, hybridizer: Paeonia lactiflora, Sass / Bongers, 1938.

Growth habit and size at maturity : Grows to 32-36" tall and wide.

Flower form and size: Semi-double to full double, 8" upright blossoms borne on strong stems. 

Flower fragrance: Strong sweet scent. 

Bloom time: Late season herbaceous peony, blooms in our USDA zone 6a garden in the second week of June.

Zone hardiness: Proven in USDA zones 4-8.
