Asian Pear
Pears have been grown in East Asia for over a millennium. Asian pears are notable for their crisp texture and sweet juiciness. These trees do best in a full sun location, growing to 15-20' tall at maturity. Asian pears are hardy to USDA zones 5-9. Most trees are self-fertile, meaning that a solitary tree will produce fruit, though yields are increased with cross pollination between two different cultivars.
We offer several Chinese and Japanese cultivars grafted onto cold hardy rootstock.
