Nothing compares to the taste of a ripe fig (Ficus carica) eaten fresh off the tree. Growers in the north can experience this Mediterranean bliss with a little extra work. See our guide to growing figs in a cool climate. Winter protection is required in USDA zone 7 and below. We grow early ripening cultivars, suitable for container growing. 

All our figs are grown and shipped in containers. They have a large root system and 2-3' of top growth.
