Paeonia, 'Glorious Pink Jade' Chinese tree peony 5 year old plant

 Name in Chinese and pinyin: 粉玉生辉 Fen Yu Sheng Hui

Notable characteristics: An excellent rockii type Chinese tree peony introduced by Chen Fuhui, the daughter of renowned hybridizer Chen Dezhong. Flowers open a shade of mid-pink and fade to near pure white. The effect of seeing different flowers in all of these stages at the same time is nothing short of "glorious."

Cultivar group, hybridizer and year introduced: Rockii type, Chen Fuhui, between 2003 and 2005.

Growth habit and size at maturity (10 years old): Upright grower, to 4' tall and 3' wide.

Bloom time: Mid-season, blooms at our nursery in the third week of May.
